This place is very small with limited seating in narrow area with people lining up next to the tables, so better off ordering to go. Staff are usually just young kids but are nice enough. Food is good but they're always out of side when I go there such as yucca or plantains which is really annoying as they complete the meal. But it is very tasty Puerto Rica style food.

    Highlight of visit: MOFONGO

My mom and I just had the Mofongo With Shrimp.... OMG - the best! Very generous with the food, full of Latin flavor and the business is run by the kindest most humble people. They bake these delicious loaves of bread right in front of you. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This eatery is too small for comfort. I hope they be home so popular they move into a larger space for a dine in experience!

I loved the food and quick & friendly service. The chicken was fall of the bone perfect and I could eat the beef empanadas every day. The seating is limited but the staff checks on you often and serves the food with out delay. Next trip to try the desserts.

I have been working down in Palm Coast for six months and have not found anywhere good to eat. Luckily today I happen to stumble by this place hidden away in the Ace Hardware shopping center. Easily the best meal I have had in Palm Coast, definitely give this place a try!

The Puerto Rican food here is amazing to say the least. As soon as you come in the door you are welcomed and quickly served, and in a very polite manner. Whether it's to go or to eat on the outside tables on a nice day, it is a very pleasant experience! Don't miss the Guava cake, Tres Leches cake, or the Quesitos. They make it right, and you can place an order for anything if you have a special occasion. Te gusta mucho!

I love El Pollo Colorao! Their food is authentic Puerto Rican food and is delicious. It is real food. My favorite (hard to choose) would be their beef empanadas and chicharrĂ³nes. The service has always been excellent and when I place a to go order over the phone it is always ready when I arrive to pick it up. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this restaurant except I hope they are around for a long time!

The only aspect I feel that could be improved on is seating inside the restaurant. There is not enough room to sit a large family or a large amount of people. I would like to see this restaurant open up or expand and become larger. Keep making delicious, real food! I recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of an amazing food experience.

I been to all the Puerto Rican restaurants between Palm Coast and Jacksonville and haven't found any good food. The food here lacked flavor and spices. Best Spanish food is at The Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine.

I stopped there out of curiosity and ordered takeout for dinner. I had chicken, yellow rice with gandules and yuca. Enjoyed all of it. The yuca was especially good. Garlicky with a hint of vinegar.

Me and my husband went to El Pollo Colorao the other day with our kids and had an amazing time! The staff was friendly and courteous. They answered all of our questions about the menu and helped us get the best deal. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our new favorite dessert tres leche! The kids loved the rice and chicken. My husband couldn't get enough of the pernil! Overall the dining experience was excellent, the food was amazing and we can't wait to go back!

I went to El Pollo Colorao and tried their mofongo stuffed with chicken. It was an OK dish. The mofongo had no flavor (I could not taste any garlic, it lacked salt, and it was missing the pork cracklings), however, the serving size was large and the chicken was very tender. I also noticed that it was made on the spot, which was a plus. They also gave me some garlic oil for the mofongo, which helped the mofongo taste better. The service was good and it didn't take that long for them to prepare the dish. According to their menu, the dish had a price of $6.99 but they ended up charging me almost $10.00.
