Review of Delicias of Portugal by Joanne from Palm Coast
Have returned second time for their rolls- excellent for breakfast - fried egg with cheese - feels like back in a NY deli. So far apple turnovers great. Can't wait to try other baked goods!

Stop in this bakery almost weekly. Love their Portuguese rolls especially when we get them warm in the morning. We've tried many of their baked goods which we really like, the round pastries filled with pudding, others filled with an almond paste, canolis, and other specialty cakes. Highly recommend it if you have a sweet tooth.

I love the Delicias of Portugal Bakery. Just moved here from N Y State and I enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the fantastic baked delights. Super pastries and so varied...liked the pastry with sliced apples on it and the fabulous cranberry/orange/walnut muffins ( just bought a bunch for a party tomorrow). Want to try the tiramisu and the fruit topped tarts - I plan to try a different treat each time i come....this is my favorite place to go in my new home town of Palm Coast..

Yesterday, returning from St Augustine, I stopped at the bakery and got the last sweet bread. It was a large bread and I paid $15 for it. I took the bread and returned to Melbourne Fl. This morning, we had breakfast and I can say, after tasting my mother's bread and that of some other Portuguese ladies bread, this was the worse sweet bread I have ever tasted. The texture was not good. There wasn't enough eggs used for flavoring and it also lacked the lemon and vanilla extract flavoring. To top it off, the top of the bread was washed with water and sugar. The sweet bread I had in the past was always washed with eggs. Additionally, the bread did not have enough sugar. I will not go to this bakery again. I will have to try another bakery.

Came from Orlando with my friends and friends from Portugal and was very happy we found this little cozy atmosphere. The bread was out of this world. Love the warm "pão de avo" which was The first time I had this bread and not the last . Friends had a variety of pasties and the coffee was delicious. Can't wait to come back and enjoy not only the food but the atmosphere. Loved how different nationalities came together in one place all enjoying each other.

Finally an authentic bakery in Palm Coast. I wish this bakery was bigger. Everyone is finding out about this little bakery and the lines are long and the few tables are full. It is so nice to be able to sit down and have a cappuccino and a delicious pastry. And I mean delicious. The have all different pastries, cakes, pies, breads and the best Portuguese rolls. I can't forget the coffee and tea. It's hard not to come here every morning but I have to watch the waistline.

My second visit in one week! They stayed open late so I could get what I needed. Best Sfogliatelle I've had since I lived in NY.

Frozen cakes not even baked at the "bakery". If you speak English "stay out" of this so called bakery.
