Unfortunately, our experience at Sushi 99 was not a good one. While we were seated promptly, It took forever for the waiter to notice that we had not yet been served. The waiter did not remember to bring us our water until we gestured for him to come over twice to remind him. While other diners seated after us were getting their dinners, we waited to get served in a disjointed and absent-minded fashion.
My order was brought out to me at a completely different time than my husband's was brought to him, so my husband and I never got an opportunity to eat our meal together. Neither the Shumai or the specialty roll I ordered were the temperature they should have been. By the time my husband's food was brought out to him (a plate of noodles with Two pieces of chicken in it), he had had it. He had complained four times to three different people, one of those people being the manager and the only response he received in return were some half-hearted and rather bizarre excuses. Finally, we walked out without my husband ever eating his food. This restaurant needs some serious changes in management - and it has just opened! You cannot expect staff to be trained by management that doesn't know how to manage. I advise anyone wanting a good sushi experience to go elsewhere.
