Mezzaluna European Village has been our go to place for pizza for years. Last night we finally decided to try their Sicilian and what a DISAPPOINTMENT. The dough was beyond thick bordering on skyscraper! The overall flavor was totally blank. This was a wasted $16. I hope Mezzaluna hasn't peaked but we will definitely seek out another "go to" pizza place for all of our pizza
I've been here many times. The food is awesome. Best Pizza and sandwiches.. The one thing that really rattles my chain is the absolutely horrendous service. They act like they're doing you a favor.... I'll be back because the food is that good, but I save money on the reduced tip because the waiters are sofa king awful!
7:30pm on a Wed night I called to order a chicken parm hero. I was told it would be a one hour wait. I was at a bar across the way and could see they were not that busy. I think Mezzaluna food is good but come on... an hour wait for a sandwich! Seems like you need a bigger kitchen.
We were extremely happy with our luncheon of pizza here, last September, thin pizza with crisp dough is hard to find, great sauce, good cheese, loved it. Went back in February when we came back down to Palm Coast for a dinner. Had the very best veal Parmesan, melted in your mouth, pasta and baked ziti, scrumptious. When we move down to the area, we will be regulars. Great sauce. Thank you.
Take out from Mezzaluna last night. We ordered a large which was more than we could eat. The pizza was very good and we were pleased to find it in pizza deprived Palm Coast. We seem to find good pizza/Italian food to be a rare commodity here. This was a very pleasant uprise.
